Items are delivered to the Steam account linked to the trade URL you provide. Delivery can take up to 8 days from a confirmed order.

The reason is Valve's Steam Trade Protection. When we acquire your item it lands in our Steam account by trade, and Valve places it on a trade cooldown of up to 7 days before it can be traded onward. We have to wait that cooldown out before we can send it to you, and we allow a further day for sourcing and dispatch — hence the 8-day window above. This is a Valve restriction that applies to every marketplace and cannot be removed, waived or expedited by SkinsDeals, and it is not a delay caused by us.

You can see the exact cooldown expiry for your own order, with a live countdown, on your Purchases page. Where an item clears sooner, we send it sooner — the 8 days is an upper bound, not a scheduled wait.

The same hold then applies again on your side: once the item reaches your Steam account, Valve holds it for a further 7 days before you can re-trade or sell it. This second hold is separate from, and comes after, the delivery window above.

SkinsDeals is not responsible for delays caused by Steam/Valve, an incorrect or expired trade URL, or trade restrictions on your own Steam account.

To fulfill an order, we need a real email address we can reach you at and a valid Steam trade URL. An email automatically generated at Steam sign-in (in the form of your Steam ID @steamcommunity.com) does not count as a real address we can deliver order updates to.

You may be asked to confirm or update these details when you sign in. Orders cannot be delivered without a valid, confirmed trade URL, and we cannot notify you of delivery status without a real email address on file.

Item Authenticity: All items must be genuine Dota 2 cosmetics. We do not support trading of:

• Stolen or fraudulently obtained items
• Items from accounts with trade bans
• Duplicate or exploited items
• Items that violate Steam's Terms of Service

Price Manipulation: Users may not engage in:

• Artificial price inflation or deflation
• Coordinated market manipulation
• False or misleading item descriptions
• Wash trading or fake transactions

Commission Structure:

• All items: 10% service fee (included in displayed price)

We accept:

• Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards
• Apple Pay and Google Pay
• Wallet balance from previous sales

Payment Terms:

• Prices displayed in your selected currency (EUR, USD, GBP, AED, CLP, AZN, KZT, KWD, OMR, SGD, SAR)
• Platform fees are deducted from seller proceeds
• Buyer pays the full listing price
• Payments are processed immediately upon purchase
• Seller payouts occur after successful item delivery
• Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy

SkinsDeals is committed to preventing money laundering and terrorist financing. We:

• Monitor transactions for suspicious activity
• Require identity verification for high-value transactions
• Report suspicious activities to relevant authorities
• Maintain transaction records as required by law
• Screen users against sanctions lists
• Freeze accounts involved in suspected illegal activity

Transaction Limits:

• Daily transaction limit: €10,000 EUR
• Monthly transaction limit: €50,000 EUR
• Enhanced verification required for limits above €5,000
• Suspicious transactions may be flagged regardless of amount

Regarding intellectual property rights:

• Dota 2 and all related content are owned by Valve Corporation
• SkinsDeals's platform, logo, and branding remain our exclusive property
• You retain ownership of items in your Steam inventory
• We provide a platform service, not ownership of game content
• Our AI analysis and market data are proprietary

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Perfect market price accuracy
• Uninterrupted service availability
• Error-free platform operation
• Successful completion of all trades
• Item value appreciation or stability
• Steam API availability or functionality

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkinsDeals shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits or trading opportunities
• Damages exceeding the platform fees paid
• Issues arising from Steam services or Valve policies
• Market volatility or item value fluctuations
• Third-party payment processor issues
• Force majeure events

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspicious or fraudulent activity
• AML compliance concerns
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• Steam account issues or bans
• Chargebacks or payment disputes

Upon termination, pending transactions will be completed according to their existing terms, and wallet balances will be made available for withdrawal subject to any legal holds.

For dispute resolution:

• We encourage resolution through direct communication
• Disputes shall be governed by United Kingdom law
• You retain the right to dispute card transactions with your issuer
• Legal proceedings shall be in courts of England and Wales
• We support alternative dispute resolution where appropriate
